It is hard to believe it is March!
This week we wrapped up our unit "Hot and Cold" in science. Over the past few weeks we have completed some experiments observing things such as how quickly food colouring mixes with the water depending on the temperature of the water, how blubber insulates a polar bears paw when they are living in the arctic, and watching what happens to an inflated balloon when one is placed in hot water and one in cold water. Students have loved learning to be scientists and record the data they found. Ask your child what they learned.
Students also had the opportunity to test their insulation project. It was interesting to see who's project had ice the longest. Thank you for supporting your child in creating these projects at home.
